Matt McPherson, who designed the acoustic guitar we heard, is a bow designer and owner of Mathews Inc. by day. His single-cam bow design has changed the archery industry. Lynn Fuston has been shooting for just over a year now. It's very fun and very challenging. Here are some photos of what we did in our spare time to give us a break from listening. Below is Ben Catania, Dennis Corley, Bob Williams (another archer), Lynn Fuston taking aim and Shane McConnell. (The target is 20 yards away, just so you know.)

He aims, he shoots....

"I betcha can't do THAT again!" comes the ribbing from the onlookers.

The second arrow, he aims and......

"OK, now let's see you put one right between those two arrows" come the taunts from the crowd. But archery, like picking the right preamp, is as much about knowing when to stop as it is about knowing when to try again. "I think I'm done."

Several people suggested that maybe we should bring the unflattering preamps out and use them for target practice. I decided not.
